Oct 6, 2008 · I just changed the timing belt at 90K (ride is CS3) and encounters loud "whirling" sound when flooring the accelerator pedal @ neutral gear. Mechanics say it is due to faults on the wheel bearing (new one) so changed to a 2nd new one and also tighten the timing belt but still same "whirling" sound (not so loud this time).

Sep 12, 2007 · The idling screw for the cs3 lancer is on top of the throttle body, covered with a small black rubber piece. Remove the rubber and you can see a + screw inside. Turn clockwise to decrease idling speed and anti-clockwise to increase. Hope that helps! :) Anyway, why would u need to adjust idling speed?

Aug 19, 2006 · I'm driving a 2005 pre-FL Lancer CS3 Manual. I've been on BC coilovers that's height and damper adjustable for the past 5 mths . So far so good! If you're going for full coilovers, it IS going to be much harder on your butt, even on the softest setting. No 2 ways about it. As far as I know, D2 is one of the hardest.

Mar 18, 2012 · Design and space wise, I prefer Lancer's over Vios. I know someone who had left the engine of a Lancer running (after forgetting to switch off the engine) for 5 hours; as a result of rushing to office without any issue. That was back in the 90s i.e. the older generation of Lancer.
