Feb 7, 2008 · Miles Mann WF1F has published these tips on how to use the ISS 70cm to 2 metre FM repeater. The Kenwood D700 on ISS supports several modes, including a mode called Cross Band Repeating. It allows signals on one band (70cm 437.800) to be received and simultaneously transmitted on another band (145.800 in this example).

Feb 17, 2022 · It appears the only difference is the 200 is a single receiver. I believe the 300 is a dual receiver. I would probably have gone with the 200 if it were available when I bought the 300.

So with the FTM-400 in home use I use Pi-Star with C4FM or be digital / analog direct on the frequencies, try some satellite contacts (AO-91 or ISS etc.) and have chitchat outside from the local repeaters. To that I use a local SSTV junction.
