Apr 15, 2011 · Close but no cigar on the night tide blue, got 3 cans today at Walmart. Noticeably lighter than the Kubota blue spray I have from the dealer. Still, it's close enough to use as a base coat, then I can "top coat" lightly with the Kubota paint to get the right color and get a lot more mileage from the Kubota stuff.

May 6, 2020 · Like I stated previously, Rustoleum Kubota Orange is Orange 2 and Majic Kubota Orange is Orange 1. I heard (on here) that Rustoleum Grey is a close match to ROPS grey but the ROPS grey at my dealer isn't that expensive and covers well so I used that.

I've tried to spray it in the past and had zero luck with it. Unless it was in a Kubota aerosol can. The blue is still available in aerosols through kubota. I just bought a can from a dealer local to spray my G1900 engine.

Aug 16, 2017 · Dealers up here want $50 for a spray can of paint. OP did not say whether it is the old or new Kubota orange, but I just take a small painted part from my tractor to a local automotive paint supplier where they will scan it. They then mix it up and put in a spray can. The last one I got (gray) was half the cost of dealer paint and just as good.

Feb 19, 2016 · Well, as I said, you could paint a tractor with cheap paint, (in my case I use Chevy Orange engine paint), and then you could likely top coat the whole tractor with just one can of the expensive Kubota paint to make it look just right.

Jan 30, 2015 · Kubota Orange II is a single step paint with high solids and great UV stability, despite being THE hardest paint color to keep from fading (orange). If they sit outside, they are gonna fade. Problem is, painting that correctly is going to require pulling the stickers off and re-applying new ones afterwards.

May 13, 2022 · The kubota rattle can enamel is actually quite good paint, kubota is just very proud of their parts and paints, and charges accordingly. I asked what the "economy" brand my dealer uses and they showed me this "total source" brand. I got a can of each. Color match to each other is very close, nearly indistinguishable in my eyes.
