King Jerrod, also known simply as Jerrod, also spelled as Jerod, is a minor character occasionally referenced in Sindel's backstory. He is described as once being the King of Edenia before Edenia's finest warriors lost in Mortal Kombat.

King Jerrod was the king of Edenia and a former patriarch to the Edenia's royal family and the Anunnaki before his brother, Marduk. He was the husband of Queen Sindel and the father of Princess Kitana.

The former king of Edenia in the original Mortal Kombat timeline and the former emperor of Outworld in the Liu Kang-created timeline of Mortal Kombat 1.
