Late April 2024, 3 weeks after after the 5-yr bumper-to-bumper warranty had expired, while on highway doing 70mph, the car's check light engine came up. "Check Hybrid System. Turn Off Engine." It constantly beeped. A few other dashboard lights came up too. ABS, etc.

Apr 22, 2023 · 2015 Kia Optima EX GDI. This is my wife's car and she just had the engine replaced under the corporate warranty/lawsuit burning oil issue. When replacing the engine, the dealership also replaced the radiator hoses. Two weeks have gone by and I noticed the coolant in the overflow tank is non existent. I'm thinking it just needs to be topped off.

The fix was replacing a small rubber disc at the top of your brake pedal that had been worn through which made the car think the brake had been activated. It seems like it could be an easy DIY fix to replace the disc, so that might be a good place to start.

I had a new battery installed 2 months ago, new front brake pads/rotors, oil change and tire rotation early last week prior to the engine lock. I think it has the KDS warranty (not sure what this is, or if it matters.

I bought some 16 guage wire, and tapped into the EM11 for the reverse signal. Next, I bought a $20 dollar backup camera off of Amazon. I also bought these PHONO Speaker adapters with a Female RCA and 2 slots for ground and power.
