Mar 13, 2022 · I know the recommended oil according the manual is 10W-50 using Motorex Brand Synthetic Oil. I have a 2020 KTM 350EXCF myself. I cant get Motorex brand oil locally and I cant find any 10W-50 at all.

Mar 22, 2013 · A 15w oil has the same cold cranking viscosity at -20C (-4F) as a 10w oil does at -25C (-13F). So if you never start your bike at temps less than -4 deg F you should be perfectly safe to run the higher weight viscosity (which is what I do).

The oil on the manual is the recommended spec, but you can use 10, 15 or 20 W depending on where you live and the temperature. It's no like your engine is going to have any issues using any of the three, but one might work slightly better depending on the ambient temperature.
