Jan 3, 2019 · Hey all, I recently sold my Dynaudio X14 speakers and Yamaha A-S801 amp and grabbed a pair of KEF LS50w active speakers. I loved the emotional quality of the Dynaudio but the soundstage wasn’t quite there for me, and they sounded timid. A common complaint in reviews too. The KEF LS50 wireless have excellent clarity and soundstage.

Oct 5, 2014 · Hi Chris. Yes I heard them both (Arcam A19 and Rega Brio-r) and I did like the presentation of the Brio-R and went for it. The A19 is very good but too refined, mellow and smooth for my taste when coupled with the LS50. The Brio-r seems more "fast and energetic" with plenty of detail but not bright or clinical. C.
