Are all Class-C RV's noisy? | Jayco Owners Forum
Nov 15, 2020 · I drove a used Class-C the other day and I've never heard such squeaking, rattling and cracking going on in my life. It sounded like all the wood joints in the unit were coming apart while traveling down the road. I wonder if the frame joints had nails instead of screws in them. It was not a Jayco, and I won't mention the brand name.

Class A and C mileage - Jayco RV Owners Forum - Jayco Owners
Feb 13, 2022 · Depends on your foot! I had a 32 foot Class A towing a Honda Civic on a tow dolly. Averaged 10 mpg. I’ve had three travel trailers, towed by three different pickups, and all averaged 9.5 to 11 mpg. No experience with a Class C, but my neighbor has a 31 foot Jayco Class C and he says he averages 10mpg.

Jun 30, 2018 · We have the Class C Melbourne, Mercedes Sprinter chassis. It's a turbo 6-cylinder engine. I worried that it would struggle pulling our two-door Jeep Wrangler. It does not struggle. Lost maybe 1.5 mpg. Which I thought was great. As for the towing apparatus: Blue Ox tow bar on the front of the Jeep. Ready Brute towing apparatus.

Are slides really that bad? - Jayco RV Owners Forum - Jayco Owners
Feb 13, 2024 · Much of the answer depends on the type of rv trips you make. If you typically stay a day or 2, maybe a slide isn't right for you? If you usually stay longer at any given time, a slide might be helpful. I've had rv's without a slide and with them. For me, the benefits of the added space outweighs the possibility of a mechanical failure.

Jayco Class C quality | Jayco Owners Forum
Jun 26, 2022 · I went to a used Jayco class C last year; a 2005 Jayco greyhawk. It did have some "interesting" previous owner repairs, which I easily corrected myself to Jayco OEM intended design. I did have two Ford chassis related failures. One was the A/C quit working on the way home from a camping weekend in Georgia, as well as a engine mis-fire.
