Any extras can be used to build more ion batteries/ion power cells for your tools, seaglide, vehicles, whatever.

Feb 20, 2018 · Two blue tablets are required in the final area, but only one can be found in the ILZ so you need to craft the second one with an ion cube. Two ion cubes are required in the final area to progress the story. One to activate a certain machine, then one to activate a gate.

Apr 21, 2021 · The way I was able to do it was to only do 2 teleport’s then use the Recycolotron to get the 1/3 charged cube. Then build an Ion battery which gives you a full Ion battery, recycle the Ion Battery for a fully charged cube, then rebuild the Tether tool will the full Ion Cube. On a side note if no one has tried it.

May 5, 2020 · So I rather naively went into the Primary Containment Facility without my PRAWN suit and jumped into the Sea Emperor’s moonpool. Now I cannot seem to get out. I have no ion cubes on me and I already found the ion cube in the cave system underneath the Sea Emperor’s moonpool, which means I don’t have a spare one to power up the teleport.

My understanding is that to power it, we need to insert an ion cube, effectively making that ion cube inaccessible for crafting (e.g., ion power cells, etc). Is powering the arches worth sacrificing a potential ion power cell? So far I've only found the mountain island master arch.

Apr 19, 2019 · I drilled away the entire ion cube deposit, and now when I walk up to the empty pedestal it rises, but don't see any extra ion cubes on or in it. I built a scanner room nearby and have it scanning for ion cubes and the scanner room shows that the pedestal contains an ion cube, but not sure how to go get it.
