Feb 17, 2019 · Intel Core i3-6100U. Intel USB 3.0 Extensible Host Controller 1.0 (Miscrosoft). Both of my USB ports stopped working after a Windows update on 2/16/19. I have tried all methods above. I have run Lenovo and Intel diagnostics. I have purchased a new mouse. Nothing - phone, etc. - works in USB port (either one). I have the most recent drivers.

Then export registry key from that printer and import on another machine, and edit values on key and put correct computer name. Virtual port appears when I try to install printer but don't work.

Jul 18, 2022 · I am interfacing with a Yaesu Ham Radio. It has a USB port and internal adapter. I have been using a windows 10 laptop to interface with the radio. Windows 10 has COM ports and I assigned COM 3 and 4 to the programs I use to control the radio. Windows 11 does not have COM ports. How do I add them?

Oct 15, 2017 · The problem was a faulty USB cable I assumed was good. When I accidentally used a different cable and connected to the device that needed com port, it was promptly detected by windows 10 and installed correctly. It was working all along but never had a chance to fully install drivers correctly due to the faulty cable I used.
