May 1, 2024 · Ioniq 6 77kWh Style (base model), Ultimate metallic red. The US has lower tow ratings because of the way we drive and our trailers are made for us. Trailers in the us put a much higher load for tongue weight. We do this as it significantly reduces sway.

Thinking twice now about buying a IONIQ 6
Aug 31, 2023 · 1) 12 volt battery dead. 2) Overheating while level 2 charging. Other issues: Check Forward Safety System, Check Electric Vehicle System, FOB Battery dead, Drive Motor Cooling System, Brake Lights issue, Tailgate rattles, Slight flutter during acceleration. This will be my 1st EV, but am having second thoughts.

Last night as I was heading for bed, I looked in the garage and there was a bright orange light on the left side of the center dash speaker grill. Nothing on the dash screen was showing, I opened the door and no change. As I walked around the car it went out.

Jan 8, 2024 · The Ioniq 6 does qualify for the $7,500 but because of a loophole in leasing for the lessor. The catch is that lessor gets the $7,500 because you didn't buy it, they still own it, and can classify a leased vehicle as a commercial fleet EV regardless of where it's parked.

I'm not complaining - the range is one of the best currently available, but achieving 581 km in real world driving is highly unlikely.

May 10, 2023 · I've had my Ioniq 6 for about 2 weeks, and have been looking into charging. With regards to AC charging the digital owners manual in the Blue link app (Care Care --> Digital Owner's Manual --> How to Management High Voltage Battery) you will find a short video clip that recommends charging when the battery falls below 20% and then "charge it to 100%."
