I-House
I-House provides opportunities to deepen international understanding through such activities as lectures, symposiums, cultural events, and human development and networking programs. The special library for Japanese Studies has been promoting exchange of intellectual and academic information internationally since its establishment.

The International House of Japan (I-House) celebrated its 70th anniversary in 2022. I-House was founded in 1952 by Shigeharu Matsumoto and John D. Rockefeller III to support Japan’s return to the international community and the building of a new international order after World War II.
I-House Press | IHJ Programs
The I-House Press is the commercial book imprint of the International House of Japan. It publishes in English various works, including the fruits of the House’s program activities as well as revised editions of selected works from the LTCB International Library series, for the purpose of promoting understanding of Japan abroad.
