Feb 15, 2012 · To mb8764, have you tried installing the drivers and software for the LG monitor or are you using the "plug and play" drivers that windows picks in the new hardware wizard? Try the LG drivers and the software if you havn't already. I had a similar problem. It started after my old Dell CRT monitor gave out and I got a flat screen LG HD monitor.

Jun 6, 2005 · Man, it is after 3am and I just set up a new LG L226 WTQ LCD and can't seem to figure out how to turn the damn thing on. There is what looks like a on/off button graphic/logo on the bottom right cornor of the monitor, but no actual button. I touch it, push, etc.... nothing happens. I got it plugged in, what's the freakend deal. HELP!!!

May 9, 2023 · I have been using this monitor ( LG Flatron L177WSB) a long time ago and it worked out fine until one day when I turn the computer on, the monitor displayed the "Power Saving Mode" message and the button turns orange. I have turn the monitor on and off but it didn't work. > Remove the Monitor Signal (blue) Cable and put it back = didn't work

Mar 13, 2019 · So, here's an unexpected update: in the past few months, I've been getting insane eye-strain, to the point that it's been making it hard to work home. I switched to an LG 29WK600 back in October 2018 (and I really liked it too), but I soon started to get dramatically worse discomfort. I don't think the LG uses PWM, but I can't confirm this either.

Apr 6, 2023 · Monitor life hack: it should be possible to change temperature of white in other modes like FPS, RTS, Vivid, etc. by tweaking RGB values in service menu. I did this for LG 48GQ900 and from what I saw on internet they use very similar service menu. To enter it one can use LG service remote or any programmable IR transmitter.

Sep 14, 2023 · I have the LG flatron w2442pa and when I turn on the pc, the monitor does not turn on. It just shows the LG logo for a second and then it turns black again . I checked all the cables and they are all fine. It's not the first time this happens but I was just fixing it by switching off the power cord. I tried it again but this time it isnt working.

May 28, 2009 · Also the LG handles motion better even with no ODC then the Apple cinema display does. Comparing the LG to the Samsung 750d 120 hz panel is a JOKE. The 750d being a tn panel had sever color changes depending on the angle you view it, it is so bad that the edges turn color when viewing straight on. This is one of the major weakness of this panel.

May 31, 2003 · I use my LG C2 as my pc display. In the nvcp for output color format, should I use ycbcr444 or rgb? I am thinking because it's a tv, I should use ycbcr444 since it is hdmi. No? When I set my nvcp to ycbcr444/limited, my colors are more vibrant in hdr on my win11 desktop. When I set it to rgb/full it is greyed out kind.

Jun 20, 2023 · What I want to know, is if LG's new panels work better with variable refresh rate. Their current panels have an issue with flickering while using VRR, especially in low light and/or near gray scenes. I recently tried a 42 inch LG panel from KTC, as well as a 27 inch LG panel from KTC. Both flickered with VRR, while playing Alan Wake.
