This will not change the Search History settings within the Windows 8 Bing Application. Search history WILL persist across any/all instances of your Windows 8 Bing application and also to the web experience (Bing.com), but search history SETTINGS will not persist between the application and the web experience

Sep 13, 2022 · I have tried this on my end and I can reproduce the problem. It seems Bing has an issue revalidating login to clear search history. I would suggest submitting a feedback to Bing from the Bing.com home page. Click on the the three bars in the top-right corner, click on Feedback and complete the feedback form.
