Oct 8, 2023 · I was subtyped as HOC “dark summer” which means the deepest end of the spectrum and some overlap with dark winter, which makes sense to me. Photos taken with no flash, all natural light, and no filtering. You can plainly see that the yellowy cream of the first drape is making me go quite orange. My skin was quite red that day.

Mar 2, 2021 · I don’t know about all HoC seasons but Deep/Dark Summer is the coolest of the summers, we look best in darker, brighter and richer summer colors - almost can get away with winter! I believe they do four subtypes per season. I.e. autumns can be leaf, blue, soft, or vibrant.

Sep 24, 2023 · You could be a deep summer and favor the darker range of the summer palette. I think HOC overall does a great job with drapes but a terrible job with makeup. They seem to put everyone in really bright lipstick.
