Feb 13, 2011 · Hidari (左): the radical ⼯ becomes an H, standing for "Hidari". Migi (右): the radical ⼝ "mouth" stays almost the same (no matter how you turn it), and can stand for migi (i.e. Mouth for Migi). It also resembles the katakana RO for Right (Roll to the Right).
