Dec 16, 2024 · On my 2022 Road King Police (114) I installed the Screamin' Eagle Wedge. It sputtered and coughed at idle and through the rpm range. I checked for correct installation, air leaks, etc. It was all correct. I started the bike with no air cleaner. Same sputtering. Put the original air cleaner back on, no problems. Runs as I would expect it to run.

Oct 12, 2012 · Have it on my Ultra 2011 "103". I've had the SE heavy breather on a Heritage as well. IMHO all the SE air cleaners will function the same. They add a lot of air, and coupled with tru duals adds a noticeable difference in power. I like the Ventilator a lot more as doesn't get in the way of my right leg. It sits more flush to the engine and tank.

Oct 31, 2008 · the screaming eagle air cleaner will increase the amount of oil that you see in the filter. The crankcase vents through the head breather bolts into the airfilter and "in theory" is sucked into the carb and burnt off in the cylinder. If the oil bothers you, you can always install a crank vent and route a hose down to the bottom of the frame.

May 31, 2010 · Ok, I am finding oil under the air cleaner on the engine. Not alot, notice it after a long ride. I have a 2008 Ultra Classic. I am thinking maybe some engine blow off of excessive oil. Any suggestions. I have been checking the oil level and all is normal. Thanks.
