Jul 14, 2007 · I just replaced the brake pads a couple weeks ago but don't this has anything to do with it, but just in case I figured I should mention it. Today, about a couple hours ago, the brake pedal started to get very hard to push and wasn't stopping the car very well.

Mar 16, 2018 · I have seen posts about parking brake sensor engagement causing a chime. Maybe in the hard braking, the sensor is making contact leading to the chime coming on. May 8, 2005 · In my experience ABS only really engages during really hard braking, but it very well could be the ABS, In which case when you replace that bolt, which you still should, the noise will continue...

Jun 25, 2005 · Yep, warped rotors will make your wheel bobble a bit and most the time you'll feel it in the brake pedal too. Usually if the steering wheel moves, means that somebady cranked the lugs on too tight. A pull to the side during braking is usually a hung caliper. May 24, 2009 · My ABS would sometimes pulse at slow speed while turning into parking area or my driveway especially when raining or wet surface, also had some shake when braking hard, Sometimes the ABS/Trac lights would come on sometimes not, always off after restart.

Jul 17, 2013 · On my `87 Caprice Classic 305 the brake warning light came on so I topped off the fluid but the light remains on. Brake peddle travel is good and my car has good braking. Am wondering what else triggers the warning light to illuminate. What else can I check? Thanks.
