I can leave the architect pack on while mining/building/exploring without much problem, but the massive pick-up range increase in the Hand of Creation is actually a bit of a pain if you’re trying to just toss stuff out of your inventory that you don’t want (and on console deleting things takes a lot longer than just tossing it).

Oct 30, 2022 · Same reason why Hand Warmer (also a seasonal item) isn't used in the Ankh Shield (another item made by crafting lots of stuff together). Would definitely be neat if those items were expanded to be obtainable easier and then incorporated into the crafting trees.

Feb 3, 2023 · Cool, i also made the shellphone and hand of creation pre-hardmode, but i recommend getting items needed to craft the ankh charm (some items needed to craft it may be unlocked in hardmode) so i recommend getting those items now, so you can easily complete it 10 hours after hardmode or less.

No, it'd be post EoW/BoC as you need to defeat them to get a meteorite to spawn*, which would be kinda pointless as there would be 3 Pickaxes in the same tier (Crimtane/Demonite - Hellstone - This suggestion) with the only thing justifying it's existence being the use time (aka it's speed, making it a sort of Pre-HM Shroomite Digging Claws).
