For me the Halo series showed the general feeling that most soldiers, sailors, and marines felt toward our governmental leaders. The books in particular painted an image of the leadership being monsters, bigots, and generally garbage people. Not all of the folks in power but the influential ones certainly.

The halo series made me give up hope that any tv adaptation of a video game would feel like it was made for people who actually played the games. Then I watched Amazon’s Fallout series, and it was so clearly made for the gamers by people who understand the games.

With the Halo Series, it's just objectively bad. The covenant feel on par with the insurrectionists. Kwan is bad. I have no concept of the greater universe in this timeline and instead of people bitching about budgets and parent rivalry. I'd rather get info on the rest of the universe and not a breakdown on what it means to be human.

So I started watching a few weeks back only got to the 2nd episode and I remember there being subtitles for those scenes. Got caught up in another show for a few weeks and then can back to Halo this week and no subtitles. There was an update to the so back on the 6th so I think they have introduced a bug.

Jan 1, 2023 · As well, the Halo series is 23 years old now, old enough that a lot of people in the younger demographics might never had played or taken notice of the Halo franchise at all, leaving only the now middle-aged people who played the first one or second title within the Halo series hurt because it goes against their rosy-tinted nostalgia memories..

May 26, 2020 · Story wise, the campaigns goes in this order: Reach, Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3: ODST, Halo 3, Halo 4. This is also how I personally recommend it but keep in mind that only Halo CE, Halo 2, Halo 3 and Halo 4 are the main campaigns that are apart of the main story regarding Master Chief and his journey to save humanity time and time again.

Mar 8, 2024 · As they have said (I think) they wanted Chief to have his helmet off so you can see his reactions. For a video game having a helmet on as Chief is actually a positive because ou can BE the Chief if he's faceless. For something like a TV-series a helmet is kind of a negative because you cannot see the actor's face.
