Mar 22, 2019 · The factory HK45c grip is slippier because the grip pattern is less aggressive and thinner (no palm swells) than the HK45 and P30. It takes more time and effort to master the grip to maintain a firm no-slip hold shot-to-shot. But of course, you can always buy and Talon grip or a Hogue Handall to make the grip better.

Apr 26, 2009 · The HK45C is essentially the same gun, but with a standard rail as opposed to the HK proprietary rail, a different grip (with removeable grip panels), and an ambidextrous slide release. The slides are a little different (not much), with the USPc slide seeming to me a little beefier and the HK45C slide a bit more streamlined.

Apr 23, 2017 · REGADING MAG EXTENSIONS: I've posted several times in the past regarding magazine extensions for the HK45 & HK45C, mostly the HK45. To that end, I've been using the Taylor Freelance (TF) +3 extensions for a few years now. I chose to load the +3 extensions to a total of 12 rounds, and this is how I've carried them for the past few years.

I'm 5'8", 175 lbs. with a 32" waist and have had no problem carrying an HK45C in a Sparks VM-2 all day, every day. It's probably as large and as heavy a gun as I would want to carry IWB but it's definitely not burdensome.

HK45C has an extended magazine release (which you can install on the USPC 45), HK45C has sight compatibility with most of the newer HKs (P30/VP9 style sight base) HK45C has slimmer control lever.
