SP5 Optic, Mount, and Rail Combos | HKPRO Forums
Feb 20, 2022 · I recently picked up an SP5. I plan to add an RDO soon, but I am struggling to figure out the perfect combination of optic, optic mount, and rail. Optic: I am thinking about repurposing my Aimpoint T1. Mount: I do not want to co-witness the RDO to the iron sights. Ideally the dot would sit a bit above the top of the circle on the front sight.

Mar 8, 2020 · In my opinion they are two totally different animals. The shorter overall length of the SP5K (MP5K) makes it a compact powerhouse, but you're also pretty jammed up in there when you "shoulder" the pistol. The K guns just feel cramped to me. The longer overall length of the SP5 (MP5) makes it feel a little more roomy.

Dec 4, 2019 · Find a new dealer as they are definitely gouging. Most of the chatter in the 'SP5 for Christmas' thread has people paying 2400 - 2900 for them. You just have to call around. Look on the HK site first for their dealer list and call them first. I did and am just a bit under list for one coming my way. First call I made.

Jan 31, 2022 · Also, 124 grain is typically supersonic even in short barrels, so generally 147 grain is going to be quieter. I doubt that the Omega 9K is quieter than the short Wolfman. The 9K is a 1.5” diameter, 4.56” long can, while the short Wolfman is 1.6” in diameter and 5.13” long, so a Wolfman is going to have more internal volume for suppression.

Jan 7, 2024 · I use the HK parts flat trigger, the only one available that I am aware of. Trigger work on an existing trigger pack yields about 4lbs, slack take up is eliminated (unless one prefers it), over travel is reduced for a quicker reset. Around 1/4 to 1/3 the cost of aftermarket trigger packs, 1-2 day turnaround time. Bill.

Jul 18, 2022 · The SP5 even though it has "a shelf" vs.a traditional machinegun push pin, will still allow a factory spec full auto trigger pack to be installed on the gun. The reason being is the dimension depth of the SP5 shelf behind the magwell (where it counts) isn't really any deeper than the molded in sheet metal insert in the grip frame.

I’ve got both and will measure thickness of both and post them, but gotta work tomorrow a.m., so it’ll be later. My MP5 SEF housing definitely does not fit - it’s too tight!
