Jul 20, 2015 · So I turned HDR on in display settings in Windows. Set SDR content to max brightness. All good. But damn screen suddenly decides to dim the brightness.

Apr 11, 2017 · I though HDR support was from DP1.4. How does this monitor support HDR via DisplayPort. Is it true HDR? I was considering of purchasing PA32UCX when it comes out, but seems like the price is going to be $3000. Amazon has new PA32UC for $2000. It's strange that there aren't many buyer reviews for this monitor at any online retailers.

Jan 21, 2019 · Bottom-line: seems like a Windows mapping issue that's also hardware related. My HDR Vizio P55-F1 TV looks fine on when I turn on HDR. But on this monitor (and my previous Samsung KU6290 that supported HDR10), contrast is clearly not properly set. I guess this just goes to show that HDR is still a major mess and needs much more software support.

The PG32UQX isn't bad in that regard, TFTCentral tested it as being 82% of BT.2020, or about 113% larger than DCI-P3.

I will keep this QN90B for at least 10 years in my PC room. I'm not even kidding. 10 years is my goal. I also have a 50 QN90A in my living room and I love it, so does my wife. That will easily go 10 years also.
