Google speaker and display firmware versions and release notes
To check which firmware version you're on, follow these steps: Open the Google Home app . Tap and hold your device's tile. Tap Settings Device information. Under "Technical information," check for Cast firmware: "X.XXX.XXXXX." If the device is on Fuchsia, check for System firmware version: "X.XXXXXXXX.X.XXXXXXX".
Set up your Google Nest or Home speaker or display
On your phone or tablet, open the Google Home app . If you haven't set up a home, tap Create home enter a nickname for your home enter an address (optional) tap Next. Tap the name of your home Next. Tap DevicesAddGoogle Nest or partner device . Follow the in-app steps. Note: You can opt out of some settings, like Voice Match or personal results.
Updates to Google Nest or Home speakers and displays
The Google Home app will provide indication of the setup progress. You can check the LED light on the top of your speaker or display to verify it's still getting the update. The update typically takes up to 10 minutes. If the update takes much longer than expected, check if your speaker or display is still updating by checking the LED status.

Home app: Open the Home app . Tap Favorites or Devices.. Tap and hold your device's tile. Tap Settings Photo Frame Google Photos. Select albums to add and deselect albums to remove. Factory reset Google Nest or Home speakers or displays
Google Nest Audio. On the back of your device, switch the mic off. The lights will turn orange. Press and hold the center of the Nest Audio, near the top. After 5 seconds, your device will begin the factory reset process. Continue to hold for about 10 seconds more, until a sound confirms that the device is resetting.

You can receive Google Meet calls on your Nest speaker or display. To answer a call, say "Hey Google, answer the call." To decline a call, say "Hey Google, decline the call." Control volume of Google Nest speakers and displays
Control volume by voice. Important: Voice commands change the volume of media and Google Assistant only. They don't change the volume of alarms and timers. To do this: Say "OK Google" or "Hey Google," then: Increase volume by 10%. Note: On Google Home Max, the volume will increase by 5%. "Turn it up". Decrease volume by 10%.
