Jun 7, 2020 · No, why do you ask, I had been shooting 45 1911's for 50 years, it wasn't about mastering a 1911. Mastering the Glock 19 was more difficult because of only shooting 1911's. I started with a G19 and moved into a 1911 and had the same difficulty. After shooting glocks for decades, the triggers were known and perfect for me.

Apr 11, 2021 · I am thinking about a .22 kit for a 19(P80). Any experience with these? If they run good I figure it may be worthwhile as a cheap ammo trainer/plinker. Or would I be better off spending a third more for a G44? I'm on the fence on the value of it, but I can't shoot "real" handguns for a while due to injury.

I think there is a decent argument to be made that, no matter how successful they have been, the may have been a bit too conservative over the past few years. I totally understand, and the Gen 5 Glock is pretty much the Glock actually perfected.

Oct 18, 2017 · For just steel sights go to the store on Glock's website . Steel sights are 20 bucks a set . On my 17 the rear is a 6.1 but it shoots a inch or so low at 10 yards . The next one up is 6.5 . For 10 bucks I might order one and try it . For the Gen 5 Glock 17 I'd like to put steel sights on it, either night sights or not.

Dec 4, 2015 · Loads of experience with the combination of a minus connector, Wolff 5 pounds striker spring and other OEM parts with zero reliability problems between three shooters and a dozen Glock pistols. Blazer and Gold Dots should be using the CCI 500 primer which are rather hard. About as tough as you'd want in SD ammo.

The Glock's longer, heavier trigger is so utterly different that retraining myself to master it has been a major undertaking.
