Top 3 Reasons Why I carry the 43 instead of 43X | Glock Talk
Feb 11, 2025 · G43 is a great option. Carried one for 7 years. Bought a G48 on a whim, then figured out I could conceal it nearly as well as the G43. So the G43 got replaced. Now, I've been carrying concealed since 99', and have gotten pretty good at. Been experimenting with holsters, belts, and cover garments for a long time.
Really Like The G43 | Glock Talk
Apr 26, 2024 · For better or worse, a Glock is a Glock is a Glock (well, except maybe the G44 ) and that's what brought me back to the G43. With a +1 extension and spring, I'm OK with rocking 7+1 for sure versus 10+1 for probably... and it's still a …
Higher capacity magazine options for G43 - Glock Talk
Mar 7, 2021 · The 43X is my first of the slimmer Glocks and I assumed the longer 43X mags would fit the G43. I'm glad I found this was not an option before buying a G43. I don't like negative surprises. It bugs me that the G43 uses a 6 round only (Glock) magazine. I could live with it if the reload was higher capacity.
G42 vs. G43 - Glock Talk
Mar 5, 2018 · Great sales figures (the G43 was the best selling model in 2016, according to someone at Glock), but it doesn't seem to have "dethroned" the Shield for sheer sales and popularity. Even though I repeatedly reviewed whether I should buy either a G42 or G43 - or both - before I turned in my ID/badge and lost my peace officer exemption to buy off ...
G43 with + Baseplates or G43X | Glock Talk
Dec 19, 2022 · MagGuts+1/+2 help the original G43 achieve a better balance between concealability and capacity by adding a couple of more rounds without sacrificing its superb concealability. For those who like to say with the familiar Glock platform, "MagGuts'ed G43" can be a viable option for summer carry or when the concealability is the priority.
Is the G43 obsolete? | Glock Talk
Jan 16, 2022 · The Glock 43 mag is a dead end. All of Glock's new subcompact releases are now based around the 43x style magazine. Glock should create a new model that has the same grip height as the 43 but with a slightly wider grip to accommodate the 43x mags. That should get you from 6 to hopefully 8 rounds in the mag with just a tiny increase in grip width.

Nov 26, 2024 · The G43 is one of my favorite Glock pistols and my EDC for the last 8 years. But I don't know if it is "the best Glock ever"... 🤔 IF GLOCK ever updates the G43 or makes a new variation of the G43X with shortened grip that comes with flush-fit 8 rounder mags and accepts the G43X/48's 10-rounder mag, then that would be "the best Glock ever" to me.

Sep 27, 2024 · That unmarked G43 connector turned out to be over the 5.5 pound estimate Glock advertised and Glock wanted to be the trigger pull. I think my trigger was ~6.5 pounds or more. Glock later released a minus connector (part #33564; marked with a "-" sign) which dropped the trigger pull weight down to ~5.5 pounds.
G26 vs G43 | Glock Talk
Feb 2, 2018 · I'm sure this has been contemplated by just about every Glock owner wanting a Sub-Compact Which one would you pick of the two G26 vs G43 I know the G43 is smaller, thinner, lighter in weight but the G26 fills the hand a bit better has extra ammo capacity & also the option to use G17, G18 & G19...
Glock 43 - My Review - Glock Talk
Aug 25, 2017 · Glock's reset is well-known for being one of the best and that's certainly the case with the G43. For this reason, my follow-up shots with the G43 were much quicker and more accurate than with the LC9s. Then LC9s does conceal much easier and is much lighter. It would carry better than the G43, but for me, I'll take the G43 over it any day.
