The only US delivered, date-coded, Gen 3s that I'm aware of that had a date coded barrel was some 19s that were brought into the US in late 2008/2009. The code on these were on the top of the barrel.

During my armorors course, they said that any modern pistol can shoot +p, but since there's not an exact "consensus" on what's +p, they have to caution against it. Not that anyone nowadays can afford it, but I'd avoid shooting cases and cases of +p.

Mar 3, 2014 · AFAIK glock 42 is not MA legal, is this correct? I've been advised several times by people who handle lots of on the line ag vs non ag list items that they are in no way legal for anyone other than law enforcement to have.

Apr 4, 2007 · The Glock 42 is the second best shooting glock made, after the 34. Its easier to hit with than even a 17. It shoots that well. (Very very fast with combat accuracy, or pretty darn accurate slow fire) Which makes me wonder if I wouldn't be more effective with the wimpy .380 than with something like the 43.
Does your Glock 43 say "USA" or "Austria" on the slide?
Apr 12, 2006 · This will be on the frame and barrel as well. The finish is different than the Austrian slide models. The above video is incorrect about the gen 4. Under his silly grip tape it will say made in Austria Glock Symrna GA or something like that. The frames that say made in USA have the Georgia state proof marks.

Jun 16, 2015 · Lucky Gunner just released a .380 video comparing all the usual suspects (p238, BG380, LCP/LCP2, Kahr CW380 and G42). They voted G42 as the best of the bunch for reliability and trigger. They also noted the only reliability issues they noticed with it were most likely due to limp wristing from newer shooters.

The manual says max load of 3.1gr, Lyman is even more conservative when referencing a 95gr FMJ projectile. At 3.1gr it'll still stove pipe frequently.
