Nov 28, 2023 · When I accepted the Blue Jays quest and when I reached the eagles nest I knew the Blue Jay was lying. The Blue Jay would not build a nest that big. I went back to confront the Blue Jay but I could not tell him that he is lying. A little oversight of Larian.

Aug 19, 2023 · The eagles weren't there when I arrived to the area and the Blue Jay thanked me for getting rid of the eagles. I have never seen the eagles. Maybe a bug. I had killed absolutely everyone and everything in the monastery and in the creche though.

When you go up to the "blue jays nest" you find a huge nest that's way too big for a mere blue jay. you even find a hammer which would be impossible for the blue jay to carry up there (unlike an eagle). here is the most messed up part. we find out that the eagle has a child and if you try to spare them by simply knocking them out the blue jay ...

Aug 15, 2023 · Speak directly with the Ancient Giant Eagle (not with Xavier the Giant Eagle) with animal speaking and pass a persuasion check. Afterwards, get the rest out of sight and sneak / hide / crouch around the detection zones (red areas) to grab the weapon. Sneak out after that. The eagles basically stayed still for the whole duration.

In addition, I heard that in the game you can find such a phrase from Arthur that he likes blue jays much more than other birds.

This is in the inventory of the blue jay that you kill, the one who lies about the eagle's nest being his. You had the option to ask him whose nest he was in when you first encounter him, which he dodges. So the implication is that he killed another blue jay (whose corpse is this loot) for the little nest AND lied about the eagle's nest.

Jan 17, 2024 · I just killed both the eagles, picked up the hammer and even looted the eagles bodies. The quest marker still says to kill the eagles and even the blue jay says I haven't killed them :( I just hate leaving quests unfinished in games like this lol. I play on PS5.
