If you don’t mind use those skills, flatbows win. recurve bows are good for interrupts but not DPS due to slow speed. Some skills such as needling shot would mitigate this though.

If my ranger was limited to two bows, I would choose a long bow and a recurve bow. Long bow has long range and mid level arc. It's a good general purpose bow, and the best choice for pulling. Recurve is the go to bow for PvE targets that just won't keep still, as well as for using interrupts.

Jan 24, 2016 · The Flatbow is arguably the best bow for DPS in PvE. The long range means you'll be moving around less than with the Shortbow and mobs in PvE tend to stand still predictably. This bow is excellent for abusing height advantage aswell. Be sure when using this bow that missing isn't much of an issue.
