Maruti unveiled the new Baleno -based SUV as the Fronx at Auto Expo 2023. Despite being pretty much the same underneath, they are different. Here are the seven key differences between the Fronx and the Baleno.

The Maruti Fronx broke cover at the Auto Expo alongside the Maruti Jimny. While the latter is obviously based on its standard three-door variant, the Fronx is a brand new product. The Fronx is 5 mm longer, 20 mm wider, 50 mm taller than the Baleno, despite making use of the same wheelbase. The Fronx's 190 mm ground clearance is also superior to Baleno's 170 mm, but the hatchback has 10 litres of extra boot space.
