To keep our historic property and popular flea market safe for buyers and sellers, we maintain some standard rules and regulations. Please review and observe the following before attending Mile High Flea Market to shop for items or rent a space to sell your merchandise.

There are certain state permits and licenses necessary to start a flea market in the United States. Note that failure to obtain the right permits and licenses could give rise to very hefty fines, or even cause your business to be shut down.

In most states in the United States, you will need a business license from the state to sell your items at flea markets. Although some states require a business license, have it in mind that business licenses are more commonly found at the city level.

To sell food at the flea market you MUST have a food permit from the South Carolina Department of Health (SC DHEC). If you sell under your own tent or out of your food trailer the standard food vendor fees apply.

Shipshewana Flea Market is a 700 space outdoor flea market open every Tuesday & Wednesday from May through September. Reservations are accepted year round based on availability.
