Jan 15, 2025 · CHICO, Calif. - An early-morning fire destroyed a mobile home south of Chico. The fire was reported just before 2 a.m. on Marybill Ranch Road off of the Midway. After the flames were extinguished, firefighters found a body in the rubble of the home. The name of the victim was not immediately released.
