Jul 11, 2019 · Usually been around 60mph is the top reccommended speed to shift the truck into 4hi from Toyota, but you can go as fast as the truck will normally go once in 4hi. Tight turns on pavement with 4wd engaged is not recommended as binding may occur. Personally, if you can drive 40mph+ safely, you shouldn’t need to engage 4wd at all

Nov 22, 2008 · I want to tie them into the truck a little better. I'm going to paint my grille emblem and chrome badges today in the same gunmetal color as the wheels and see if I like it. I'm also thinking of getting the bedside decals in the same gunmetal color. Hit me up if you have any other ideas of how to make them blend with my truck a little better.

Aug 23, 2022 · Just a two wire system on this old cover for third brake light and a 4 wire system on truck. Third brake light works, put 12v on otw from battery. Thanks for any help and sorry if I am overlooking this info somewhere posted already. Searched but came up short.

I believe this originated with 1970s/1980s domestic trucks that could shift on the fly with auto hubs, but could not with manual hubs.
