The injections start off small then they add more medication as we continue. I had the first injection 3 days ago. I was told it could take upto 5 days to start feeling the benefits of the injection.

For that you need an MRI for diagnosis and possibly an epidural steroid injection. The ESI can be repeated twice at 2 week intervals if needed, and can be very effective for the pain in back of leg.
