Undo ground cable from upper intake manifold and remove the upper intake manifold (held on by 3 bolts and 2 nuts). 11. Unbolt the fuel rail from the intake manifold.

Apr 14, 2007. #2. well as far as turbo kits for the vtec motor goes, i suggest a t3t4 turbonetics tuner kit , a progammable ecu and injectors with a fuel rail , dyno tuned is a must with any accord getting boosted !!. numbers should be 215-250 depending on the upgrades you have on the motor. Standard boost on this kit is 9 psi.

Jul 25, 2005 · The F22B1 does not have the Idle Air Bypass Solenoid. All other ECU pins and wiring are identical for both ECU’s. These are the only changes. Here's a few pictures to give you more of an idea. Still haven't wired up VTEC yet. The exhaust is not done yet so I'm not driving it on the street (running an open header right now and it's loud as shit).

2.)The F22B1's VTEC system is on the intake valves only, which makes it far less useful for performance when compared to a DOHC system that offers variable valve control on both intake and exhaust valves. Essentially, the F22B1's VTEC system isn't all that much different from the F22A6's IAB system.

Jan 24, 2008 · alot of pride. most cb7tuners will tell you head swaps are not advisable. Your better off getting a DOHC swap. Also FYI the f22b1 head is lower flowing restricted and has the wiring and piping rearange. So youll need the head correct OBD's different hoses and extended wires and a head gasket the timing belt should be the same.

I've heard H23 will work, but when I talked to a salvage yard this dude insisted that I would have to change the ECU. My understanding is that you can just swap the TCU at worst and it will run fine.
