Plotting multiple lines on excel with different data in one column
Jan 25, 2017 · I tried looking at scatter graph and could get Date and Money on x and y axis, but all the employee name has just one line and not individual lines for distinct values of Name column. Reference at Putting Multiple lines on an excel graph but this one seem to be having separate tables for managers. while in my case all the names are in first column.

The Y axis Should Have the % numbers from 0 - 100% plus, because some managers employees go over the targeted hours. Further, on the x axis I want the Month and the Senior Manager corresponding to that month to display.

Easiest way to plot a graph is as follows: 1) create a blank graph from the "insert" tab. 2) right click on the graph and "select data" 3) "add series" and highlight your x values in the 'x' input box, and y values in the 'y' input box. Series name is optional. 4) select 'okay' twice. Voila. Enjoy.

I would like to get a multi-series line chart with each category as a series (line), a Y axis with the sum of the hours for that category, and an X axis with the month). I can get close with a simple pivot chart, but instead of multiple series, it "groups" the different categories with the month along the X axis. Here is what I can currently make:
