
God let Satan take away Job’s blessings by bringing destruction and death to his possessions and to his family (Job 1:12-19), but Job did not curse God (Job 1:20-22) proving Satan right. The devil loves to accuse God’s people and speaks against them day and night (Revelation 12:10).

Did God create an evil being? Ezekiel 28:12-15 sheds light on the nature of Satan when he was created. This perfect being inexplicably sinned and was cast out of Heaven (Ezek. 28:16; Is. 14:12).
In the Gospel of John, the devil who enters into Judas, is the evil one bent on undercutting God’s salvific activity. These portrayals come together in today’s Gospel, revealing the steadfast heart of Jesus as He rejects Satan’s strategies.
But if you do evil, be afraid; for he does not bear the sword in vain; for he is God's minister, an avenger to execute wrath on him who practices evil. Therefore you must be subject, not only because of wrath but also for conscience' sake.

Mar 2, 2025 · O Lord, mercifully hear our prayers and having set us free from the bonds of our sins deliver us from every evil; through Jesus Christ, Your Son, our Lord, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever.
We cause evil through our choices that go against God. As stated above, it takes more power to love humanity than to hate it, and even though we created evil, God still loves us and because he still loves us, he is perfect.

If you don’t have the armor you are opened to all the attacks of the devil, but if you put on the armor, the devil will still attack you, but at least you have something to protect you. Ask God for the things you want and believe that you receive them. Meaning that you already have them!
