Totally separated from being some sort of combination of the two, since the AT and the FT are almost literal opposites in their will.

I think the trick is that eyes are never really one coloured, and especially blue, gray and green also tend to look differently in different light. I have gray eyes, but they sometimes look very blue esp. in the night or when I’m wearing black or gray clothes.

As you remember his eyes even when reflected in the sun have no white in them which i think symbolizes the character's hope and dreams, but eren has lost all hope so his eyes lost their white.

Aug 9, 2022 · First, in the manga, Eren is shown to have his eyes closed during the rumbling in 131. He appears to have slept through the rumbling, essentially having the process play out while he dreams. However, in the anime, we see Eren enter his memory sequence in episode 12 with a new addition - clouds.
