Endo H - NEB
Endo H is a recombinant glycosidase which cleaves within the chitobiose core of high mannose and hybrid oligosaccharides from N-linked glycoproteins.
Endoglycosidase H - Wikipedia
Endoglycosidase H cleaves the bond in the diacetylchitobiose core of the oligosaccharide between two N-acetylglucosamine (GlcNAc) subunits directly proximal to the asparagine residue, generating a truncated sugar molecule with one N-acetylglucosamine residue …
What is the difference between PNGase F and Endo H? | NEB
PNGase F removes almost all types of N-linked (Asn-linked) glycosylation: high mannose, hybrid, bi-, tri- and tetra-antennary. You will choose this enzyme if your goal is to remove all N-linked carbohydrates without regard to type. Endo H removes only high mannose and some hybrid types of N-linked carbohydrates.
Endoglycosidase and Glycoamidase Release of N-Linked Glycans
Some of these enzymes cleave intact glycans from the protein—e.g., endo H, endo F 2, endo F 3, peptide:N-glycosidase F (PNGase F), endo D, and O-glycosidase. Others strip only terminal sugars (e.g., sialidase) or degrade a selected portion of the chain (e.g., endo-β-galactosidase).
Endoglycosidases - NEB
Endoglycosidase H (Endo H) (NEB #P0702, NEB #P0703) cleaves within the chitobiose core of high mannose and some hybrid oligosaccharides from N -linked glycoproteins (1). Endoglycosidase S (Endo S) (NEB #P0741) is highly specific for removing N -linked glycans from the heavy chain of native IgG (2).
Endo H Application: Monitoring Protein Trafficking
Sep 17, 2012 · Endo H (Endo-ß-N-acetylglucosaminidase H) is a 29,000 dalton protein with optimal activity between pH 5 and 6. In contrast to PNGase F, which cleaves all N-linked glycans at the site of attachment to Asparagine (Asn), (with the exception of those with fucose attached to the core GlcNac moieties), Endo H hydrolyses the bond connecting the two ...
Endoglycosidase H - an overview | ScienceDirect Topics
Endoglycosidase H (Endo H) is only able to release high-mannose-type N-glycans from plant glycoproteins by hydrolysing the glycosidic bond between the two GlcNAc residues of the chitobiose unit.
Endo H Protocol - Promega Corporation
Endoglycosidase H (Endo H) is a recombinant glycosidase cloned from Streptomyces plicatus and overexpressed in E. coli. Endo H cleaves the chitobiose core of high-mannose oligosaccharides and a limited number of hybrid oligosaccharides …
Endoglycosidase H is isolated from a recombinant E. coli strain which carries the Streptomyces plicatus gene on a plasmid. Besides the Endoglycosidase H band, no other protein band is observed when analyzing 3 μg of enzyme by polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis.
