Jan 9, 2021 · I started to look for a frame with a Bafang M500 motor, but the frames I liked could only fit a 450 Wh and that is simply not enough. a 600Wh also fits but I found out that it sticks 2cm out of the down tube. So it ruins the look of the bike, at least that is my opinion. In the end I went for the same frame my collegue just finished building.

Sep 8, 2022 · Thanks for the advice, I am already running a Nextie 90mm wheelset with a silent Onyx hub, and Schwalbe Al Mighty (tubeless) on my (non-electric) HT fat bike, and am quite happy with it! I also got Mulefut 27.5" 80mm rims with Gnarwhals on top of that. Next purchase will be be a 29" wheelset, but carbon and Onyx hubs are expensive!

The Motor: • The bike appears to show a mid-drive "cradle mount" Bafang motor, but the inset shows a different Bafang motor which is a BB mount same as what you will find in conversion kits. Jul 10, 2022 · All frames can break, and most of the well documented cases of frames that have an issue are dow to inherent design faults in the first place rather than material. In the MTB world a frame being alloy, steel or carbon doesn't make one more premium than the other.

He contracted a carbon manufacturer to build a similar frame to the E10/Light Carbon frames but must have paid the mould cost of around 5k and ordered enough frames to entice the manufacturer into production.
