Elīna Garanča (born 16 September 1976) is a Latvian mezzo-soprano. She began to study singing in her hometown of Riga in 1996 and continued her studies in Vienna and in the United States. By 1999 she had won first place in the Mirjam Helin Singing Competition in Helsinki and had begun a career in Europe.

Elīna Garanča stars in her long-awaited debut as Amneris among the superstar cast at the Wiener Staatsoper.

Elīna Garanča was born into a musical family in Riga, Latvia. She began her professional career as a resident artist with the Südthüringischer Staatstheater in Meiningen, followed by the Opera in Frankfurt am Main and Wiener Staatsoper, in each theatre appearing in numerous leading roles.

Elīna Garanča (dzimusi 1976. gada 16. septembrī Rīgā) ir latviešu operdziedātāja, mecosoprāns. Pasaules slavu ieguvusi ar Karmenas lomu Bizē operā "Karmena".
