Jul 1, 2024 · So, my concern is what could have blown the ECM1 fuse other than the ECU/PCM, any suggestion will be troubleshot with a DVM because thats all i have. I know there's is a lot of electronics that could cause this but I am looking for what has accrued a lot with the Acadia . Thanks for listening

May 10, 2024 · If not then the ECU/PCM is the next place to look. On my 2011 acadia the ECM1 fuse kept blowing after ignition key switch went from crank to run , then fuse keeps blowing. I ordered a ECU/PCM through Flagship for about 350.00$ and should arrive July 4 2024, hopefully.

Jun 29, 2019 · I noticed clicks when I turned the key to "OFF" postion and ECM1 fuse blew again. Whatever charge that blew the fuse came from the PWR/TRN relay. Re-connected all the plug/harness for Pink/Blk wires. Removed the PWR/TRN relay and turned the key to"ON" position. No ECM1 pop!!!! Need to understand what makes the PWR/TRN to blow the ECM1 fuse.

Oct 9, 2018 · We found that the ECM1 fuse was burned. Battery voltage was 12.26v when the start switch was turned "on" the gauges would peg out then return to zero..horn, lights etc would work... we replaced the fuse and the engine would crank but the battery voltage would drop to 10.7v on crank so we replaced the battery.

Jun 26, 2007 · Hey guys, similar issue with the ECM1 fuse blowing. When i remove the top plug on the ECM, the car will start, but with the top plug un-plugged, the load side of the fuse reads a dead short to ground.

Aug 9, 2019 · Original alternator went kaput at 61k miles. Diode went short and dumped dumped the battery charge. This also took out ECM1 fuse probably through the alternator field excitation the ECM controls. Put a replacement alternator on, a rebuilt unit. All was ok for 5 days and got a service charging system and battery light.
