Aug 12, 2020 · i have a Eaton Cutler Hammer panel that uses BR type of breakers (and a few other Eaton types), but most of the breakers are BR type. my local electric supply is a Siemens shop, they say the Q250 and QF120 will fit my panel. Siemens says "they might work, we dont have x-reference, but using our breaker in your Eaton panel will void our warranty".

May 25, 2019 · Square-D Homeline, hands-down! That is the ONLY panel I ever install when I do service upgrades, and I have done hundreds! I have installed a Siemens before, but only when the customer requested such. I consider Siemens to be second-best. But I don't like G.E. or any other brand of panel available. I consider them to be of poor quality.

The panel is full of ghq1020 breakers (quicklag) bolt on. I need to install some 1p gfci breakers 15a and 20a. Also one shunt trip 15a 1p. And some 3 pole breakers various amperes.

Apr 19, 2023 · Being a Siemens guy, I am not familiar with Eaton panel boards, so I looked at the catalog out of curiosity. I find some of things they do strange. I guess the PRL1 is only for <250 V systems. Then if you look at a PRL2, under the list of branch breakers, GHB is in there but there is a note that says "For use on 480Y/277 Vac systems only."
