    The EMC2 framework is designed to specifically build four competencies: empathy, self-awareness, social skills, and cognitive skills. Empathy is the general capacity to recognise emotion and resonate with others’ emotional states such as happiness, excitement, sorrow, or fear. The underlying neural circuits of these competencies nurture both the limbic and the neo-cortex (whole brain).
