No high speed dubbing. 3. Separate motors for each deck. There are others but these are the facts. The Onkyo TA-W100 is a good example of a great cassette deck.

Apr 28, 2011 · Another contender is the Aiwa AD-WX909 which is an interesting mix. The recording deck is a dual capstan, 3-head deck with PCOCC R/P head and manual calibration and the playback deck is a quick-reverse (Aiwa states 0.2seconds) with an amorphous head. It's one of the most interesting dual-well decks I have seen.

They used a 2 motor transport made by ALPS, that on paper achieves a very respectable .05-.06% w&f RMS. And in practice, this results in a sound that is stable, with no audible w&f.
