Dec 1, 2020 · My drowned farm is in a river biome, between a birch forest, a dark forest, and a desert. It is pretty large, and it is built all the way up at Y-255. My AFK platform where water funnels in drowned is at Y-189, where I stand and AFK. I have a mob water collector that pushes the drowned that drop out of the farm into the spawning platform.

I understand it's hard to make a large farm in such a small biome like a river so I suggest to try prioritizing a large lake over a nice flat area and try to excavate any land that might be in the spawning ...

Sep 12, 2018 · If any of you do build a drowned farm, or already have one, could you let me know how much Gold you are getting out of it. I noticed as I kill drowned just out in the deep blue that I'm occasionally picking up gold (which floats - lol). Wondering if a viable gold drowned farm could be made. Gotta be easier than on the roof of the nether!
