Bounded to the north by Reid Street, this is spread across quite a large area, with a lot of beautiful brick commercial buildings, especially further east towards the river.

Downtown Palatka has quirky, historical, scenic spots to explore that are just… Uniquely Palatka. Start at one of the state’s oldest Dairy Queens for a Dilly bar – like stepping back in time. Save room for lunch, so you can enjoy a Black Bottom sandwich and onion rings in Florida’s Oldest Diner – Angel’s Diner.

Some of our favorite shops to grab souvenirs and local goods were Lemon Street Market & Mercantile and Lady Bugs Gift Shoppe.
