Jan 16, 2022 · So I'm wondering what common names already exist for cat people. I see that there is "catfolk" in some official D&D settings, but I don't really like that name; it sounds lazy. And for more in-depth worldbuilding, it makes it sound like they are a "new" race, because linguistic changes have not taken effect.

Honestly, alot of what you've got is pretty similar but you might find some benefits from the book. Like a double move action at the cost of no movement the next action.
