Misa Amane (弥 海砂, Amane Misa) is an up-and-coming model, actress, and supporter of Kira who eventually becomes the Second Kira. After gaining a Death Note, she seeks out Kira in order to thank him for killing the man who murdered her family and to offer him her help.

YagaMane is the het ship between Light Yagami and Misa Amane from the Death Note fandom. When Light, disguised as Kira, killed the man who murdered Misa's parents, she instantly developed a fanatical obsession with him.

Through most of the series Light used Misa and saw her as nothing but a tool despite her complete love for him. She's annoying at times but utterly devoted. There are things that undermine the idea that she was just a tool though.
