Aug 31, 2019 · Since recent Windows 10 update my screen backgrounds have all turned black instead of usual white. Can't see how to change this in Personalisation/Settings even after changing background from 'dark' to 'light' - I'm so angry their stupid software took in upon itself to alter how I'd set the laptop up :-(. Any advice gratefully received!

Jul 9, 2022 · Because you didn't say you wanted this for Bing Searches, and still don't say what device it's for, I gave you the only dark mode Bing has which is on mobile devices. There is no dark mode for Bing Searches on PC (again I'm guessing because it wasn't specified), except what you can set in your browser which is here or via an Extension:

May 4, 2023 · The icons to switch dark mode on or off are disabled when you disable dark mode. In Outlook, go to File > Options. On the General page, look for Personalize your copy of Microsoft Office. Set the Office Theme to Black and select the check box next to Never change the message background color. Select OK. Thx

Apr 20, 2021 · If the theme is dark then this page should be dark, as a clean blackboard. If the about:blank were "about:white" then I would ask for change in advanced settings to black o to make the page "about:dark" as default startup page.

Are you using the Black theme in Office? If so, please try these steps to keep the page color white while using the Black Office theme in Word. 1. Go to File > Options > General. 2. Check the box for “Disable dark mode”. 3. Click OK. I hope this helps. Best regards, Adie

Nov 28, 2024 · It writes black text on black background. I have dark theme on so that it's easier on my eyes but it writes in black when I try to leave a comment. For others it doesn't happen and they have dark mode on. No one here can figure it out. I have to highlight it to see.

Mar 8, 2021 · To clarify, changes between Dark and Light Theme does change the theme of the window header, URL/address and favorites bar, but it does not change the background of the page itself. Yes - there's a difference between a dark theme - for the browser chrome (the bits around the web page and settings pages) - and dark mode for web page content.
